Marion Makes…

I have finally, after literal months, finished the squares for James’s birth blanket.

144 squares total, made of 6 different colors. I accidentally made more than I needed in several colors, too, though.

Now all I have to do is block them out! And then stitch them together in hopefully the correct order because I blocked them! And then give the whole thing a border for pretty.

So like probably still many hours of work BUT this is the biggest step, completed. So yay!

We had neighbors we’re tryna make friends with over today and despite a couple social gaffes (Erica we don’t scratch people ffs) it went well! She was really excited to have kids around. She hasn’t been able to get out to the library for a while because we’ve been potty training, so it was a great time for her. A short visit though, hopefully we’ll be able to do something longer soon.

We also went out to the farmer’s market today so it was a very big day for all of us. A Sunday well spent.
