Daily Share 127 (blocking)

I have blocked Jamie’s birth blanket. I miiight start putting it together later tonight but I’m not sure. Pics of blocking process below.

We had someone come out to put a steel post up in our basement to keep the house from falling over per a structural engineer, but the worker left the place a mess and said nothing to us before he left, so now we’re feeling some major concern 😭 but hopefully he comes back tomorrow and finishes the job and cleans up. If not we’re gonna have a rough time with this company, yippee.

Today we also got Erica’s own bathroom set up! She has a potty insert to make the big potty usable, and a set of stairs to get to it and the sink. We moved her toothbrush there and she used it in that bathroom for the first time before bed. Big steps!

Blocking process as promised:

Blocking

This is the point where I had to tell myself to trust the process as far as design
But by this point I felt good about it
It’ll look good finished, confirmed 👍🏼
Stacking rows for assembly (I can’t just leave it out for my cats to tear up 🙀 gotta keep the order somehow)
And this is where we are now. Green skeins on top will be the joining yarn.
