Marion Makes…

A nice day today! Erica played with sidewalk chalk for the first time.

She’d been sick for a couple days so it was nice to get her outside. She’s doing well now. She watched a ton of Ms Rachel for the first time while she was sick. Ms Rachel is hella annoying for me but very engaging for Erica and seemed to maybe even have a positive effect on her enunciation. So we love her.

Erica decided bed time was a little early today so Nate and I took some extra time on the front porch together eating ice cream while the sun set. It was really nice. I really like my husband. We def suffer from the separation from each other that co-parenting two kids can cause. Carving out time together like we did tonight is always wonderful.

We got a lil Erica sized couch/hide a bed thing for her and put it all together tonight after porch time. We’ll show her tomorrow. It’s very cute, I’m excited for her reaction.

Jamie also had a good day. He’s over nine pounds now, btw! We got lots of snuggles.

Otherwise the last couple days I have been playing Sons of the Forest with Nersch, featuring my first heavy co-op gaming session in months. It was nice. We split up the fam when Erica got sick to protect Jamie – Nate with her, me with Jamie for both really sick days. I got the easier job, so Nersch and I played for a good five hours one of those days. Crazy time. Now I just gotta find time to game with my online friends sometime soon 💀 I miss them, it’s been ages.

I have not made much progress on James’s blanket in the last few days. It was awkward with quarantining the family in half, and I wanted to game. I’ll get back into it soon and update on progress.
