My back is finally better enough that I can be Erica’s primary care during the work week again. Resting a lot when she’s sleeping, but still, it’s a relief.

She’s walking on her own more and more. She’s moving too fast man. We’re starting the process of baby proofing more rooms so she’s not just stuck in the dining room anymore. It’s a big open play area for her, but once she’s more mobile it won’t be big enough.

Also have to call daycares today. Blech. I hate phone calls. While I’m at it I’m probably gonna make some appointments I’ve been putting off because phone calls too, lol. I need new glasses so badly.

I’ve been playing a ton of dragon age recently. The newest one, veilguard.
DA: Origins (the first in the franchise) was one of my favorite RPGs of all time, but the two that have come out since then were lackluster (although I did complete them outta loyalty to Origins). This one is good, though. I’m always going to be frustrated with the change from full dialogue line selection to the dialogue wheel where your response is a generalized summary and then your actual scripted response is different. But this one handles it pretty well, makes the dialogue align more closely to your wheel choices than I’ve felt the others did. And it’s a comfortable size map wise, large but not infuriatingly so like Inquisition, and more dense.

Anyways, I’m still only in Act 1, I believe, with 45 hours played. I’ve completed all the A1 side quests without getting bored, which is unusual and thorough for me. I dunno if I’ll be able to sustain that through the next act(s?) but we’ll see. If the scripting and plot continues to be this fun I very well may.
