I think my psychiatric appointment is the only thing really of note so far today.

Yesterday I did write a random opening scene for a book I don’t actually plan to write. It’s a southern/mid-western horror type thing, so I reckon it was probably inspired by watching sinners the other night, lol. It was more of an exercise than anything, writing for the sake of writing, but it was the first longer-form fiction I’ve done in a long time. Makes me hopeful that this new medication I’m on will continue to encourage me to write. I miss writing a lot.

Might post the passage later, after my husband proofreads and tells me if it’s any good, lolol.
